Black city is the first state of the art studio in Ghana.

It was birthed in 1983 and went through three different stages of upgrade physically in terms of the structure of the building design and upgrade of equipment to this present stage.Due to the upgrades the studio closed down between upgrades till it was finally finished.
It was built to bridge the gap between Africa and the rest of the world through music.To share ideas and knowledge with no restrictions in terms of technology.Because of this we had to get the best of equipment to satisfy any top artists in the world.Due to this we did not cut corners so we got one of the best studio seasoned Tech from the UK to install and wire up every single equipment from scratch to finish.Its also set up for ADR recordings Withs LED screens for viewing.
The studio has a warm homely,serene and inspiring atmosphere where creativity grows and there are no limits.

It’s situated in the heart of Accra in the beautiful African country called Ghana.Just 10 minutes drive from our international Airport and it’s in the middle of Accra with its close proximity to all the five star hotels in Accra.
We are also equipped with 5 small studios for writing camps and a rehearsal space fully equipped.Our live room big enough to accommodate a large Ochestra and a large choir.We also have a cosy musicians lounge for artists to relax in with a kitchen.
